# Download checkpoint

`GET /v1/rl/checkpoints/{id}/download`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.together.ai`
- URL: `https://api.together.ai/v1/rl/checkpoints/{id}/download`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Returns presigned URLs for downloading a checkpoint's model files. Only inference checkpoints support downloading.

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required: ID of the checkpoint

## Query parameters

- `variant` 'CHECKPOINT_VARIANT_UNSPECIFIED' | 'CHECKPOINT_VARIANT_MERGED' | 'CHECKPOINT_VARIANT_ADAPTER', required: Checkpoint variant: merged (full model) or adapter (LoRA weights only)

Checkpoint download URLs

- RLCheckpointDownloadResponse: Presigned download URLs for a checkpoint's files
  - `data` RLCheckpointFile[], required: List of files with presigned download URLs
    - `filename` string, required: Name of the file
    - `url` string, required: Presigned URL for downloading the file
    - `size` union, required: File size in bytes
      - string
      - integer
