# Cancel a batch job

`POST /v1/batches/{id}/cancel`

Cancel a batch job by ID

## Path parameters

- `id` string, required: The ID of the batch job to cancel

  - `status` 'VALIDATING' | 'IN_PROGRESS' | 'COMPLETED' | 'FAILED' | 'EXPIRED' | 'CANCELLED': Current status of the batch job
  - `job_deadline` string, date-time
  - `created_at` string, date-time
  - `endpoint` string
  - `progress` number: Completion progress (0.0 to 100)
  - `model_id` string: Model used for processing requests
  - `output_file_id` string
  - `error_file_id` string
  - `error` string
  - `completed_at` string, date-time
