# Reorder Folders

`POST /v1/external/folders/reorder`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.tiro.ooo`
- URL: `https://api.tiro.ooo/v1/external/folders/reorder`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Set the display order of sibling folders. Provide every sibling's ID in the
desired order; positions are assigned by array index. The workspace is
inferred from the first folder ID.

Requires edit access.

## Request body

- ReorderFoldersRequest: Set the display order of sibling folders.
  - `orderedFolderIds` string[], required: Folder IDs in their new display order; positions are assigned by array index. All folders must belong to the same workspace, which is inferred from the first ID.

## Response `204`

Display order updated

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request — empty list, duplicate IDs, folders not found, or folders span more than one workspace
- `401`: Unauthorized — missing API key, or a team-only key was used
- `403`: Forbidden — no edit access
- `404`: The first folder in the list was not found
