# Detach Note from Folder

`DELETE /v1/external/folders/{folderId}/notes/{noteGuid}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.tiro.ooo`
- URL: `https://api.tiro.ooo/v1/external/folders/{folderId}/notes/{noteGuid}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Remove a note from the folder. This does not delete the note itself.
Requires edit access to the folder.

## Path parameters

- `folderId` string, required
- `noteGuid` string, required

## Response `204`

Note detached

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized — missing API key, or a team-only key was used
- `403`: Forbidden — no edit access to this folder
- `404`: Folder or note not found, or the note is not attached to this folder
