# Create outbound email

`POST /mailboxes/{mailboxId}/emails`

## Request

## Request body

  - `to_address` string, email, required
  - `subject` string, required
  - `text_body` string, required: Plain-text body. Sent via Cloudflare Email Service from the mailbox address.
  - `html_body` string: Optional HTML body.
  - `in_reply_to` string: RFC Message-ID of the email being replied to (threads the reply).
  - `tags` EmailTag[]: The email's labels/channels — array of {name, value}. Use name 'channel' for provenance (e.g. {name:'channel', value:'herdr'}).
