# Terminate a browser session

`DELETE /browser/{sessionId}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.browser.tinyfish.ai`
- URL: `https://api.browser.tinyfish.ai/browser/{sessionId}`
- Auth: API key in header `X-API-Key`

Terminates a remote browser session immediately. If the session is already ended this call is idempotent and still returns 204.

## Path parameters

- `sessionId` string, required: Session ID to terminate.

## Response `204`

Session terminated (or already ended).

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid session ID
- `401`: Unauthorized - Invalid or missing API key
- `404`: Session not found or does not belong to the authenticated user
- `409`: Conflicting operation on the session (RETRY_REQUIRED) — termination not confirmed, retry the delete shortly
- `429`: Rate limited by browser infrastructure (RATE_LIMIT_EXCEEDED) — honor Retry-After
- `500`: Internal server error, including non-retryable upstream failures; the session may still be running — retry the delete
- `503`: Browser infrastructure temporarily unavailable (SERVICE_BUSY) — termination not confirmed, retry; honor Retry-After
- `504`: Browser infrastructure timed out terminating the session (TIMEOUT) — retry
