# Create Job

`POST /api/jobs`

Single-shot draft+submit. Kept for the existing Platform-Storage
upload flow (inputs already exist in workspace before the user clicks
Generate). The two-phase `/draft` + `/submit` flow is preferred for
new clients — see `project_nail_art_storage_layout.md` memory.

## Request body

- JobCreateRequest: Frontend posts this after uploading hand images + selecting a nail-set. Inputs are raw S3 keys: `nail_set_s3_key` + `hand_s3_keys`, uploaded via `/api/uploads/standalone-presign` under the caller's own prefix (or pre-seeded admin nail-sets / curated-gallery keys). They're scope- + existence-validated server-side before the job is accepted. DEPRECATED — direct hand upload: a hand with a `None` entry in `hand_template_ids` (or no `hand_template_ids` at all) is an ad-hoc, user-uploaded hand that runs the full strip + SAM3 + VLM preprocess. The frontend no longer offers direct hand upload — all hands now come from curated hand templates — so this is retained only for in-flight / legacy jobs and is slated for removal. New callers SHOULD supply a `hand_template_id` per hand. (Per-finger custom directions also only apply on the template path; the worker logs a DEPRECATED warning when a hand arrives without a template.)
