# Delete Template

`DELETE /api/hand-templates/{template_id}`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Soft-delete a user-owned template (flip `is_active=False`).

Admin-curated rows can't be deleted via this route — that's an
admin-side concern. 404 on missing-or-unauthorized so the route
never leaks the existence of someone else's template id.
