# Delete Memory

`DELETE /api/agents/{agent_id}/memories/{memory_id}`

## Request

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Soft delete — sets expires_at = now(). The consolidator hard-deletes later.

Soft delete preserves auditability and lets us recover from accidental
UI deletes within a window. Pinned memories cannot be soft-deleted via
this route; unpin first.
