# Delete department

`POST /api/departments/delete/{id}`

Delete a department from Timetastic. The department must be empty - edit any users with this department ID to allow the department to be deleted.

If the department was successfully deleted

- `400`: If the department couldn't be deleted (usually because it contains users)
