# Set note-taker automation

`PUT /settings/notetaker-automation`

## Request

Updates the AI note-taker automation mode. Changing the mode immediately schedules or cancels bots for your upcoming events to match the new setting.

  - `automation` 'MANUAL' | 'JOIN_AS_HOST' | 'JOIN_ALL_EVENTS', required: How the AI note-taker decides which meetings to join: - `MANUAL` — the bot never joins automatically; schedule it per event with the bot endpoints. - `JOIN_AS_HOST` — the bot joins events you organize. - `JOIN_ALL_EVENTS` — the bot joins every event on your calendar.
