# Set room permission

`POST /rooms/{room_id}/permissions`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.timeless.day/v1`
- URL: `https://api.timeless.day/v1/rooms/{room_id}/permissions`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Grant or update access to a room you own for a teammate, your team, or anyone with the link. Public access is read-only. Teammates and your team can read the meetings in the room. Find teammate IDs and your team ID with **List team members**.

- `401`: Authentication required
- `403`: API access is not available for this account, or you are not the room owner
- `404`: Room not found or not accessible, or recipient not found in your team
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded
