# Delete room

`DELETE /rooms/{room_id}`

## Request

- URL: `https://api.timeless.day/v1/rooms/{room_id}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Delete a room you own, along with the documents filed only in this room. The meetings in the room are kept. Deletion is asynchronous, so the room can still be listed for a few seconds after the `202`.

## Path parameters

- `room_id` string, required

## Response `202`

Deletion accepted. No response body.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid ID
- `401`: Authentication required
- `403`: API access is not available for this account, or you are not the room owner
- `404`: Room not found or not accessible
- `429`: Rate limit exceeded
- `502`: The deletion could not be queued. Retry the request.
