# Cancel bot

`DELETE /meetings/{event_id}/bot`

## Request

Cancels a previously scheduled AI note-taker bot for an event. The request is accepted and processed asynchronously — a `202` means the cancellation has been queued.

## Path parameters

- `event_id` string, required

## Response `202`

The bot cancellation has been queued.

- BotScheduleResponse: Acknowledgement that the bot schedule or cancel request was accepted and queued.
  - `event_id` string, required: The calendar event the bot request applies to.
  - `status` 'scheduling' | 'cancelling', required: Whether the bot is being scheduled or cancelled for the event.

## Other responses

- `401`: Authentication required.
- `404`: Event not found.
- `422`: Validation Error
