# DELETE /credentials/{namespace}/{name}

`DELETE /credentials/{namespace}/{name}`

## Request

- Base URL: `/v2` (relative, and the document was published on a file host, not at the API’s origin)
- URL: `/v2/credentials/{namespace}/{name}`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP basic
  - API key in header `X-TILEDB-REST-API-KEY`

Delete the named access credential. Any arrays still set to use this credential will use the namespace's default and may become unreachable.

## Response `204`

The credential was deleted successfully
