# OpenTimestamps proof for one day of the index

`GET /indices/proof`

The proof of one day of the Tickerz Index: every complete period written or revised since the proof before, hashed and stamped in Bitcoin. JSON metadata, or the .ots file with format=ots. Verify sha256(canonical_json) against digest_sha256 and check the .ots file with the OpenTimestamps client or opentimestamps.org. Until a Bitcoin height is known the stamp is calendar-pending.

  - `ots_url` string
  - `verify` string

## Other responses

- `400`: bad_day
- `404`: not_found: no proof for that day
- `429`: rate_limited
- `500`: proof_unreadable
