# One index as CSV

`GET /indices/{ticker}/history.csv`

## Request

Every complete period of one index, oldest first: the level, the number as first published, which settles, whether the source revised it later, and the proof. A level a source's terms keep out of the API is empty. A period with no proof yet leaves the proof columns empty.

## Response `200`

One row per complete period

## Other responses

- `404`: not_found: no index with that ticker
- `429`: rate_limited: the address passed the limit named in RateLimit-Policy
- `500`: internal_error: the server failed to answer
- `503`: halted: the record could not be read
