# Set Initial Digest Timezone

`PATCH /watchlists/{watchlist_id}/digest/timezone-default`

## Request

Apply a new account's browser zone without confirming onboarding choices.

This endpoint is intentionally narrower than PUT .../digest. It only replaces the
database default while preferences remain unconfirmed, making callback retries
harmless and preventing a later login from silently overwriting a user's choice.
