# Company Names

`POST /tickers/names`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.tickertrac.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.tickertrac.com/tickers/names`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`

Display names for the tickers a page shows, so the app can write "AbbVie (ABBV)".

Public reference data only (curated, then SEC names); a ticker with no name maps to
itself, which the app shows as the bare ticker.
