# Google Link Start

`POST /auth/google/link/start`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.tickertrac.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.tickertrac.com/auth/google/link/start`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP bearer
  - API key in header `X-API-Key`

Connect Google to the signed-in account. The Google subject is what gets linked; the
Google account's email plays no part, exactly as with Connect Apple. The state carries the
account, so the callback can never create or switch accounts for a link attempt.

  - `client` 'web' | 'mobile'
  - `code_challenge` string, nullable
