# Reset Signal Preference

`POST /alerts/preferences/{kind}/{value}/reset`

## Request

Stop past ratings of one source or one company from shaping the feed.

Records a boundary instead of deleting ratings. A reader who decides they do want
to hear about a company again is saying what they want going forward; they are not
retracting their verdict that a particular citation was wrong, and the eval export
still needs that verdict.
