# Every security, one line each

`GET /securities.json`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://tickerinside.com/api/v1`
- URL: `https://tickerinside.com/api/v1/securities.json`
- Auth: none required

Every security the funds of the 626 issuer files hold, with how many of them hold it and its largest weight, in one file of 792 KB. The list to walk before asking for stock files: its last place says whether a stock file exists.

## Response `200`

The file. The example is a real answer, shortened: long lists and maps keep their first entries.

- Securities
  - `as_of` string, nullable, required: The price date.
  - `count` integer, nullable, required: How many securities are listed, the length of securities.
  - `note` string, nullable, required: How to read the entries.
  - `securities` array[], nullable, required: One entry per security held by the issuer-layer funds, the most widely held first. Each is [ticker, how many of those funds hold it, its largest weight in any of them, company name, 1 when it has a page at /stock/{ticker}/, 1 when /api/v1/sec/{ticker}.json is a stock file, not a holders_only answer].
    - union[]
      - union
        - number
        - string
  - `license` string, nullable, required: The licence the data is published under.
  - `attribution` string, nullable, required: How to credit the data: a link to this file where the medium allows one, the name where it does not.

## Other responses

- `304`: Not modified: the ETag of your copy, sent in If-None-Match, is still current. Files are cached five minutes.
- `503`: The file could not be served just then: retry after a minute. uptime says whether the site fails its own checks.
