# What is kept for compatibility

`GET /deprecations.json`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://tickerinside.com/api/v1`
- URL: `https://tickerinside.com/api/v1/deprecations.json`
- Auth: none required

Each field, key, answer, address and MCP tool name kept answering for compatibility, with what replaces it. The fund addresses and the tool names are read from the code that answers them. Nothing listed here is removed inside v1.

## Response `200`

The file. The example is a real answer, shortened: long lists and maps keep their first entries.

- Deprecations
  - `count` number, nullable, required: How many entries.
  - `rule` string, nullable, required: What deprecated means here, in one sentence.
  - `aliases` object, required: Each fund address the Worker answers with a 301 to the fund's file under its new ticker: {old ticker: new ticker}, lower case, as src/index.js lists them.
  - `entries` object[], required: What still answers but has a replacement; their fields are described below.
    - `id` string, nullable, required: The entry's id. It does not change.
    - `kind` string, nullable, required: field, a field of a file; key, a way of keying a security; answer, an answer of an address; address, an address that leads to another; mcp_tool, a tool name of the MCP server.
    - `since` string, nullable, required: The day it was replaced.
    - `what` string, nullable, required: What is deprecated.
    - `where` string, nullable, required: The file, address or server where it answers.
    - `replaced_by` string[], nullable, required: What to read or call instead.
    - `answers` string, nullable, required: How it answers today.
    - `note` string, nullable, required: Why, in words.
    - `removal` unknown, required
  - `contract` string, nullable, required: The data contract this file belongs to: /contract/.
  - `docs` string, nullable, required: Where this file is documented.
  - `license` string, nullable, required: The licence the file is published under.
  - `attribution` string, nullable, required: How to credit the data: a link to this file where the medium allows one, the name where it does not.

## Other responses

- `304`: Not modified: the ETag of your copy, sent in If-None-Match, is still current. Files are cached five minutes.
- `503`: The file could not be served just then: retry after a minute. uptime says whether the site fails its own checks.
