# Unstar Component

`DELETE /v1/starred_components/{star_id}`

## Request

Unstar a component.

The path parameter is the star's own star_<ksuid> id, not the underlying
component id. Also accepts the underlying UUID form for transition-period
compatibility; new integrations should use the prefixed form.

Returns 204 No Content on success.

Error 404 if the star id is unknown or cross-user.
