# Ask the host a question

`POST /v1/properties/{property_id}/questions`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://threshold.rentals/api`
- URL: `https://threshold.rentals/api/v1/properties/{property_id}/questions`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Send a question the listing doesn't answer (e.g. crib available? early check-in?). The host is emailed and usually answers within a few hours; answers may be added to the listing's FAQ.

## Other responses

- `400`: Invalid input (e.g. invalid_dates, unknown_amenity, place_not_found)
- `401`: Agent token missing (unauthorized)
- `404`: Not found (property_not_found, quote_not_found, booking_not_found)
- `429`: Rate limited or too many open requests: see Retry-After
