# Get partner access token (client credentials)

`POST /v1/platform/oauth2/token/`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://docs.thredfi.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://docs.thredfi.com/v1/platform/oauth2/token/`
- Auth: one of:
  - HTTP basic
  - HTTP bearer
  - HTTP bearer
  - none

OAuth2 token endpoint using Basic Authentication. Provide partner_uuid:api_key as username:password in Basic Auth header. Request body should be form-encoded with grant_type=client_credentials.

## Request body

- OAuth2TokenRequestRequest: Serializer for OAuth2 token request
  - `grant_type` string: Must be 'client_credentials'
  - `client_id` string, uuid, required: Partner UUID (same as in Basic Auth username)

## Response `200`

- OAuth2TokenResponse: Serializer for OAuth2 token response
  - `access_token` string, required: JWT Bearer token for API authentication
  - `token_type` string: Token type (always 'Bearer')
  - `expires_in` integer, required: Token expiration time in seconds
