# Create Link Token

`POST /v1/platform/businesses/{business_id}/create-link-token/`

## Request

Create Plaid link token for frontend initialization

## Path parameters

- `business_id` string, uuid, required

## Request body

- LinkTokenRequest: Serializer for link token creation request.
  - `country_code` string: ISO country code (US, CA, GB, FR, ES, NL, IE). Defaults to 'US'

## Response `200`

- LinkTokenResponse: Serializer for link token creation response.
  - `success` boolean, required: Whether the operation was successful
  - `message` string, required: Human-readable message
  - `link_token` string: Plaid link token for frontend initialization
  - `expiration` string, date-time: Token expiration time (4 hours from creation)

## Other responses

- `400`: Validation errors in request data
- `401`: Authentication required - missing or invalid API key
- `403`: Permission denied - insufficient privileges
- `404`: Resource not found
- `409`: Conflict - resource already exists or invalid state transition
- `422`: Unprocessable entity - business logic validation failed
- `500`: Internal server error
