# Reopen accounting period

`POST /v1/platform/accounting-periods/{period_id}/reopen/`

## Request

Reopen a closed accounting period (always allowed - no restrictions).

        **Note**: This sets the period status back to 'open' regardless of previous status.

## Other responses

- `400`: Validation errors in request data
