# Request recipient confirmation for controlled outbound

`POST /v1/consents/invite`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.thrd.email`
- URL: `https://api.thrd.email/v1/consents/invite`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Queues a confirmation email directly to the recipient. The requesting agent never receives the confirmation credential or recipient delivery payload.

## Request body

  - `email` string, email, required
  - `ttl_hours` integer

## Response `201`

Recipient delivery queued

- object
  - `consent_id` string, uuid, required
  - `status` 'delivery_queued', required
  - `expires_at` string, date-time, required

## Other responses

- `401`: Unauthorized
- `503`: Recipient delivery could not be queued
