# Install From Source

`POST /api/skill-sources/{source_id}/install/{slug}`

Fetch a skill via the source's adapter and import it through SkillService.

Returns the created ``Skill`` row (as the standard SkillOut shape) on
success, or 412 with allowed_tools / capabilities / side_effects when the trust gate
fires (mirrors POST /api/skills/import behaviour).

- InstallFromSourceBody: Trust override sent by the UI after the user accepts the allowed-tools prompt.
