# Rebuild Estimate Endpoint

Read-only cost/mode estimate for a rebuild (used by the rebuild dialog).

``scope=needs_work`` (default) prices only the chats that actually need
re-extraction (drifted/failed/blocked/never-extracted); ``scope=full``
prices a from-scratch re-extraction of every chat. TOS-498.

``include_captures=False`` (TOS-1005) prices a conversations-only rebuild
that skips capture chats (those with a non-null ``source``), so the
dialog can show that cheaper option without committing to it.
