# Discover Organizations Endpoint

`GET /api/me/organizations/discover`

## Request

Search the organizations that have chosen to be findable.

An organization appears here only if an owner or admin turned
Discoverable on. Everything else is invisible to this endpoint, for every
caller and for every search term, which is why the switch defaults to off:
a directory that lists every household and client organization on the
platform is worse than no directory.

Declared BEFORE ``/organizations/{tenant_id}``. FastAPI matches routes in
declaration order, so the other way round the literal ``discover`` is read
as a tenant id and this endpoint answers 422 forever.
