# Connected Clients

`GET /api/mcp/connected-clients`

## Request

Per-client-family connection status, evidence-backed only.

Returns one row per Connect-screen client id (chatgpt, claude, codex,
claude-code). ``status`` is "connected" only on real invocation evidence
within the staleness window, "stale" when evidence exists but is older
than the window (rendered as "last seen X" by the frontend), and
"not_yet" when no evidence exists at all.
