# Install Github App

`POST /api/integrations/github-app/install`

Begin a GitHub App installation for the calling identity.

1. Refuse cleanly if the GitHub App isn't configured (no broken URL).
2. Resolve-or-create the caller's own instance + folder installation fact.
3. Insert a short-lived ``IdentityMcpOAuthState`` row (no PKCE - the state
   token itself is the callback's auth primitive).
4. Return the GitHub install URL carrying that state.
