# Bulk Delete External Sessions

`DELETE /api/ingest/external/v1/sessions`

Delete sessions for a given source.

``source`` query param is required - a bulk delete without a source
filter is not permitted (returns 400). When ``older_than_days`` is set,
only sessions whose ``started_at`` is older than that many days are
deleted (used by the one-time capture-retention cleanup).
