# Import Folder

`POST /api/folders/import`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://app.thinqos.com` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://app.thinqos.com/api/folders/import`
- Auth: none declared

Import a folder from a zip, a folder download or any zip of files (TOS-7356).

Creates a new folder (inside ``parent_id`` when given, which needs admin
there) with the zip's subfolders, and uploads each document through the
normal upload pipeline; with a ``thinqos-folder.json`` manifest it restores
each document's metadata, the members you are allowed to add, and the
skills, connections and agents. Nothing it does widens anyone's access to
anything that already existed. 413 for a zip over 200 MB (packed or
unpacked) or with too many entries; 400 for a path that leaves the folder.
