# Post Payout Request

`POST /api/earnings/payouts`

## Request

Request a payout of available earnings, reserving the amount.

The reservation is live the moment this returns: the seller's spendable
balance drops by the requested amount, so the same dollars cannot also fund
an AI turn while an admin decides. Rejection gives them back.

## Request body

- PayoutRequestIn: A seller's request to cash out part of their earnings. ``extra='forbid'`` for the same reason ``TopupRequest`` carries it: this model must never quietly ignore a field a client believes it is sending, and the field most likely to be attempted here is somebody else's identity id. ``amount_usd`` is a STRING on the wire. Money is ``NUMERIC(12,6)`` end to end in this system and every other monetization payload is a decimal string; accepting a JSON float would route the one value that must not lose precision through binary floating point.
  - `amount_usd` string, required: Decimal string, e.g. "12.50"
  - `idempotency_key` string, required: Client-generated key; replaying it returns the original payout request.
