# Interact

`POST /api/chats/{chat_id}/interact`

## Request

Respond to an interaction prompt (choice button click) and stream the agent reply.

The ``interaction_id`` must reference a prompt on a message in this chat.
``option_value`` is the value of the chosen option.

Currently this behaves identically to ``stream_message`` using the option
value as the user message content.  When skill execution is added, this
endpoint will check the interaction's ``interaction_source`` and route to
the appropriate skill handler instead of re-entering the AI loop.
