# Set Chat Extraction Excluded

`POST /api/chats/{chat_id}/extraction`

Suppress (or re-admit) a chat from cognitive extraction. TOS-44.

Governs future extraction. PR-D1: real flip transitions also fire the
reconciliation worker so already-extracted beliefs retract (false → true)
or come back (true → false). A no-op POST (same value re-submitted) does
NOT fire reconciliation - that wiring keys on ``ExtractionExcludedResult``
being a real transition.
