# Delete Agent File

`DELETE /api/agents/{agent_id}/files/{content_hash}`

Purge a vaulted file: deletes its bytes from object storage and archives
its reference record.

Idempotent - purging a file that was already deleted, or was never
vaulted for the caller, returns ``{"deleted": false}`` rather than a 404,
so a retry is always safe. Only purges a file vaulted under the CALLER's
own identity; a co-owner can never purge another owner's file this way.
