# Retire People Endpoint

`POST /api/admin/identities/retire`

Retire disabled people for good and make every Mind forget what they taught (TOS-7357).

Soft deletes only, so every step is reversible: their agents, the private homes of
the people and those agents (TOS-7618), their chats that no
remaining person shares, their documents, and the person, with access tokens turned
off. The forgetting is queued in the same transaction. ``dry_run`` (the default)
returns the counts and changes nothing. Each person must already be disabled through
``PATCH /api/admin/identities/{id}`` so the Clerk account is banned first.
