# Delete Identity

`DELETE /api/admin/identities/{identity_id}`

Permanently delete a person (and their Clerk user) or an agent (admin only).

TOS-3390: runs the tree delete end to end (bin, then purge), so the
identity's home folder and personal folders go with it instead of being
left ownerless, and its organization folders pass to the organization.
