# Read the running Quivr build

`GET /v0/version`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://docs.quivr.thevibecompany.co` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://docs.quivr.thevibecompany.co/v0/version`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Reports the distribution release, source revision and API and plugin engine compatibility versions. Any valid API key can read it; no database access is needed.

## Response `200`

The running build identity.

- BuildVersion
  - `version` string, required: Distribution release version, or dev for an unversioned build.
  - `revision` string, required: Full source commit, or unknown for an unversioned build.
  - `api_version` 'v0', required
  - `plugin_engine_version` string, required: Engine compatibility version checked against plugin manifests, independent of the distribution release.

## Other responses

- `default`: Structured error. 401 unauthenticated.
