# Complete a password reset

`POST /auth/firebase-confirm-reset`

## Request

Completes a password reset with the emailed action code, clears the browser's identity session and reports the password change to identity-cloud-functions.

Password reset completed

- `400`: Invalid or expired action code, or invalid password
- `429`: Too many requests
- `500`: The password reset could not be completed
