# Put a detached or cancelled Occurrence back on its repeating schedule

`POST /signups/{id}/slots/{slotId}/reconnect`

Clear the Occurrence's detached state and its cancellation, and restore the times the rule currently gives its `seriesDate` and Shift; its registrations and Day Attendance return to that date's day (unless that day is cancelled). Takes no body. Notifies nobody. The slot must belong to a Series: a one-off slot is `400 bad_request`. An Occurrence whose Shift the rule no longer has is `400 bad_request`. Reconnecting an Occurrence that is not detached is `200` and re-applies the rule's times (idempotent).

    - `question` object, nullable, required: The question participants are asked when taking this slot: the slot's own, else the repeating shift's. Null when nothing is asked.

    - `questionSource` 'own' | 'series' | 'null', nullable, required: "own" when `question` is the slot's own; "series" when inherited from its repeating shift; null when nothing is asked.
    - `createdAt` string, date-time, required
    - `seriesId` string, uuid, required
    - `seriesDate` string, required: The date the rule generated this Occurrence for, `YYYY-MM-DD`.
    - `shiftIndex` integer, required: Position in the Series' shift plan. `(seriesId, shiftIndex)` is the Shift.
    - `detached` boolean, required
    - `cancelledAt` string, date-time, nullable, required: When the Occurrence was cancelled, or null while it is live. A cancelled Occurrence keeps its registrations.

- `401`: Unauthenticated — credentials missing, malformed, invalid, or revoked
- `403`: Forbidden — credentials valid but lack the required scope
