# Send manual reminders to participants

`POST /signups/{id}/reminders/send`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://thesignup.app/api/v1`

- Auth: HTTP bearer

Triggers an immediate reminder send. Skips participants who've already received one for this event. SMS-based today (email reminders ship via the day-before cron). Subject to the org's SMS ceiling. The account that owns the credential must have a verified email address (returns 403 otherwise). A cancelled signup is refused with 400 and nothing is sent; a signup that is closed but not cancelled still sends.

## Other responses

- `400`: Bad request — body or path could not be parsed
- `401`: Unauthenticated — credentials missing, malformed, invalid, or revoked
- `403`: Forbidden — credentials valid but lack the required scope
- `404`: Not found
- `429`: Rate limited or daily ceiling exceeded
- `500`: Internal server error
