# Download an attachment or inline image

`GET /attachments/{media}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://there-there.app/api`
- URL: `https://there-there.app/api/attachments/{media}`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Returns the file itself, served inline under its own content type. The url and download_url on a message's attachments and inline_images point here whenever the ticket was fetched with an API token, so use those values rather than building this URL yourself. Files kept on object storage answer with a redirect to a short-lived storage URL, so follow redirects. No X-Workspace-Id header is needed: the workspace is derived from the file.
