# Translates a text using tenants locale, don't bother to provide targetLanguage

`POST /account/tenant/translate/text`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.thebridge.dev` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.thebridge.dev/account/tenant/translate/text`
- Auth: none declared. Required headers: `x-tenant-id`

## Headers

- `x-tenant-id` string, required

## Request body

- TranslateTextRequest
  - `sourceLanguage` string: The language of the original text, optional (Api will try to identify the language if not provided)
  - `text` string, required: The text you wish to translate

## Response `201`

- TranslateTextResponseDto
  - `translatedText` string, required: The translated text.
  - `targetLanguageCode` string, required: Language translated into, echoed back.
  - `sourceLanguageCode` string, required: Language of the source text. When `sourceLanguage` was omitted this is the language that was detected — the useful half of the answer when a reporter writes in a language the reader does not know.
