# Delete interview (GDPR)

`DELETE /api/public/v1/interviews/{interview_id}`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.thebetterhire.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)

- Auth: HTTP bearer

DISABLED — interview deletion is currently turned off product-wide; this endpoint returns 403 DELETION_DISABLED. Use the dashboard's 'Mark invalid' to exclude an interview, or contact support@thebetterhire.ai for data-removal requests.

## Path parameters

- `interview_id` string, required

## Response `200`

Successful Response

- DeleteResponse: Confirmation of interview data deletion.
  - `id` string, required: ID of the deleted interview.
  - `deleted` boolean, required: Whether the deletion was successful.
  - `message` string, required: Human-readable confirmation.
