# Trust Contact Email

`POST /api/campaign/contacts/{contact_id}/trust`

## Request

- Base URL: `https://api.thebetterhire.ai` (the document declares no server; this is the origin it was published from)
- URL: `https://api.thebetterhire.ai/api/campaign/contacts/{contact_id}/trust`
- Auth: HTTP bearer

Human assertion that ONE contact's address is good.

The escape hatch for a catch-all domain. A catch-all accepts mail to any
address, so an SMTP probe can never confirm a mailbox there — the verdict
is 'unverifiable', NOT 'invalid'. Without this, every contact at such a
firm was permanently unsendable however right the address was, and a good
share of agency domains are catch-all.

Recorded as method='human' so the provenance stays honest: the sender is
trusting a person, not a probe.
